In a similar vein to my courses on early English history over the last 10 years, this completely new course looks at our early monarchs from Alfred to John and the effects they had on the ordinary people, what life was like to live under the various leaders and how their reigns changed the way we lived both then and now.

Each week's notes will be available by email if anyone misses a week, and there will be fortnightly handouts of info whenever possible.
