HONEY WESTON of Honey’s Home

It introduces the concept of “Swedish Death Cleaning” in a warm and accessible way – focusing on thoughtful choices that benefit both ourselves and our loved ones. It is ideal for anyone looking to simplify their home or belongings or plan ahead in a positive, meaningful way.

Honey is a local professional home organiser specialising in supporting families through later-life transitions, downsizing and bereavement.

Having supported her own family through significant life transitions, both in UK and in Spain, she understands the overwhelm, uncertainty and difficulty of knowing where to begin. That experience inspired the calm, compassionate and practical approach she brings to helping families navigate later-life transitions – including those living with dementia.

Honey has established relationships with local charities and community groups ensuring that the things we accumulate over a lifetime can go on to help others and make a positive difference.
Honey is happy to take questions afterwards.

As an experiment, you’ll notice that this invitation is being sent out just TWO weeks ahead of the date of the presentation rather than the usual four. Of late, attendance at PopUps has dropped off and my feeling is that a whole month may be the reason: time to forget the date. Depending on the response to this email compared with previous attendance figures, I may revert to the month-in-advance notifications. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

If you plan to attend Honey’s session, please reply YES to specialevents@brightonandhoveu3a.org so that the correct number of chairs can be laid out. That YES will guarantee you a seat. Attendance will however be limited to 50, and if you reply when all seats have been reserved, I’ll inform you. If a couple of those attending could turn up early to help with that task, it would be appreciated.

Also, please leave the front row free for those who see or hear less well and for wheelchair users.
